Earth Day happens in April for a reason! Pruning Most pruning should be complete by now - focus on crape myrtle suckers and the like Planting Now is the time for starting your vinca, pentas, lantanas, and other summer annuals Here's your first real opportunity for planting okra, melons, corn and such. There's still plenty of time for peppers, tomatoes, and squash as well as any herbs. Trees and shrubs - Get them in while we're in the rainy season...don't wait too much longer!
